you make me feel like home is where you are - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Was he ready? Now that the whole pregnancy was out in the open between them that was a question that was on his mind. Would he be ready for all this, this experience. Truth was, he had no idea. The thought of having a kid had not been on his mind. He figured that it'd happen eventually, later on in life but not now. Eth wasn't exactly that experienced with children. Some people had siblings that were a lot younger than them so even though they may not like it they'd have to end up looking after them, helping out with things and babysitting. Stuff like that. He had a sister, Chelsea, she was younger but there wasn't that much of an age difference between the two. Amber was the baby that he had spent the most time around. There were many times when he'd hang out with Ryan and Martha, giving them a little hand with her. The girl loved him, she considered him as an uncle figure in her life which he was extremely happy about. This was going to be totally different. This wouldn't be him looking after someone else's child this would be him looking after his own. Ethan didn't want to mess up when it came to being a father. He wanted to try his hardest and be the best dad he could be, when the time comes at least. Focusing back on Corrie he nodded a little, "Yeah you definitely would have, it was pretty hilarious. Our room kinda got trashed because of it but it was worth it!" He replied, smiling and then talking another bite of his cake. "How have you been though?" He asked, looking over at her.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

ITS ALWAYS TIMES LIKE THESEwhen i think of you and i wonder if you ever think of me.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Corrie’s parenting skills weren’t the best compared to Ethan’s. Well, technically it wasn’t called parenting skills right now, but still! He was much better with kids than she was. Eth had experience from Amber, Ryan and Martha’s daughter and she had basically nothing. The girl had no siblings and all of her cousins were older than her, so she never really spent a lot of time with kids. Every once in a while she would help Gabby&Troy out by taking care of the twins if they were out of luck with babysitters. In other words, this meant that she was at the very bottom of their list when it came to babysitters. Corrie expected that this was because of her lack in responsibility. She planned on becoming more responsible in the future, though. More responsibility to Corrie felt like a load full of work to her. For a while now she just went with the flow and if something bad happened she would just move past it. That wasn’t what was going to happen anymore. In the next few months she planned on: ending her clumsiness, her forgetfulness and cutting down on her sarcasm. If along the way her kid was going to believe everything she said, Corrie didn’t want to throw him or her off track because of being sarcastic all the time. Yeah you definitely would have, it was pretty hilarious. Our room kinda got trashed because of it but it was worth it! How have you been though? She shrugged, not knowing what else to say about herself. “Um.. pretty good. I was pretty much bored to death yesterday. That’s why I wanted you to tell me about your little cake war thing.” Corrie replied, “But other than what I told you earlier, I’m pretty much the same. Well, minus my minor wardrobe problem. I still need to go shopping for clothes, otherwise I’m stuck wearing this for the entire trip.” She added.

you make me feel like home is where you are - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Ethan craved out another small piece of cake with his spoon and then stuck it in his mouth. The cake was delicious, it tasted like the ones that him and Chad had stolen a few days ago from the kitchen. He wasn't all that hungry considering before he ended up here in her room he had went out to eat with Gabriella since they were 'restaurant buds'. He couldn't say no to cake, it was one of his favorite desserts. Besides, chocolate cake slipped down easily no matter what. Getting off the topic of food he wondered who else knew? Or maybe it was just him. Kaitlin might. She wouldn't be the first person that Cor would want to know however they were dorm mates at the university. It would be hard to hide a pregnancy from a dorm mate or at least Eth figured that it would be since women would have morning sickness. Looking up from his cake he nodded, "Ah fair enough, the cake war was started by Sharpay getting some cake in Chad's hair.. next thing we knew cake was every wheres! But the story behind getting the cakes is pretty intense. See Chad and I were in our room thinking about the time that we went on this mission at the mall, thinking about it led us to wanting to go on another one. We decided that it would be cool to get some cakes, after I found a map of the hotel's ventilation system we began our journey. It ended with Chad creating a diversion by yelling and pretending to take a seizure type thing on the kitchen floor while I stole the cakes behind the chefs backs" He ended proudly with a slight grin. Done with the story he listened as she explained her clothing issue, "I believe there's only one solution to this problem. Go shopping." Eth answered, "Just not now.. because right now I want you to relax and spend time with me" He added with a smile but then made a suggestion, "Perhaps you could get Ash and Gabby to go with you tomorrow or something."

ITS ALWAYS TIMES LIKE THESEwhen i think of you and i wonder if you ever think of me.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Corrie laughed a bit and thought about what was going on. She was taking it harder than it really was. If she had told Ethan earlier, then they would have been able to deal with everything back home and not while they were supposed to be on vacation. Well it was too late for redoing things now. What was done, was done & finished. There was no turning back at this point. But calling herself pregnant made her same kind of old. It made her sound like.. a mom. And being called a mom was way to extreme for her. She was a freshman in college and having a little baby call her mommy sounded weird & good at the same time. Right now it leaned more toward weird, but she expected it to grow on her over time. However, few months ago - before she started college - Corrie had a plan for her future. She was going to graduate high school, graduate college, find a good job, get her own place, possibly get married & then start a family. Cor expected that plan to go along in order. Then again, reality didn't seem to agree with her and her plan was messed up. Her education was definitely going to be questioned, especially after she had the baby. As for a job, she needed to get one soon. Corrie's mom and step dad were pretty wealthy, but she knew that relying on them for everything wasn't always guaranteed. Now that her dance career was out the window, she wasn't sure what her future job had in store for her. There was that option of getting involved with fashion, though. She wasn't the best at designing, but Cor was kind of good at designing things. The girl turned her attention back to Ethan as he began to talk about the cake war & her clothing situation, "Again. You should've called mee. Oh and I'm not sure I can go shopping with Gabby and Ash.. They don't know yet." She replied, "I'm not really sure when I should tell them. They might freak."

Corrie must have been scared. She must have been worried and frustrated and full of loads of other similar emotions. That might explain why she waited so long to tell him. After all telling your boyfriend that you're pregnant definitely wasn't high on her list of things to do especially since in some situations that would end up ruining the relationship. Eth didn't exactly understood it, how could a guy get a girl pregnant and then just leave without even trying to help. That would be a horrible thing to do yet sometimes it happened. But not here, Ethan would never do that to her. She had to realize that, he hoped that she did. This new journey for them wouldn't be easy. It would probably be insanely hard but as long as they were together they'd make it through. In the end it would be rewarding too, the thought was still overwhelming. It still shocked him but in a matter of months there would be a little baby that would come into the world and later on it would call him daddy. It'd be their son or daughter. Finishing off his last bite of pie he nodded as he swallowed and put the plate back where it had originally been. "Well maybe I can discuss things with Chad, I'm sure he'd be up for doing something else crazy and if we do I'll be sure to call you this time" He said as he set down the plate. After that he went back over to her bed and laid down on it. Looking at her he listened when she spoke, "They're gonna find out sooner or later" He pointed out before continuing, "I think you should just tell them.. they are your best friends they'll probably be happy for you, us. Plus telling Gabby might be helpful in a way too, she might be able to give you advice or something since she has already had twins."

some people wait a lifetime - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - for a moment like this.Corrie glanced over at the digital clock that was placed a few feet away from her. Half an hour had passed since Ethan had knocked on her hotel room door and she had told him that she was pregnant. It was a good thing he stopped by too, considering she would end up having a boring rest of the day if he hadn't. She hated those types of days. The days that never ended and each minute seemed to be painfully slow. Cor thought that she would only have to go through all that boredom being in school and the Bahamas would be the last place she'd be bored at, but she was proved wrong until Eth had showed up. For almost her entire day she was sitting on her bed, flipping through the channels on the tv, wondering what to do next. Probably the only interesting thing she actually watched in the morning was She's The Man because Corrie loved that movie. But other than that there were so many random shows she had never heard of before. Well maybe I can discuss things with Chad, I'm sure he'd be up for doing something else crazy and if we do I'll be sure to call you this time. The brunette laughed when she heard what Ethan had said to her. "Okay then!" She said as she finished off the rest of her cake then afterward sipping her milkshake. I think you should just tell them.. they are your best friends they'll probably be happy for you, us. Plus telling Gabby might be helpful in a way too, she might be able to give you advice or something since she has already had twins. Corrie nodded in agreement, knowing he was right. The sooner the better, right? "I know, I know. And I will! But you can tell them if you want to, too. It doesn't matter to me."

you make me feel like home is where you are - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Coming here today Eth hadn't known exactly what to expect. From the way things had been going with Corrie lately; all of the fighting and the whole door slamming scene, he had almost been scared that she planned on breaking up with him. That was the last thing that he wanted. He had been through a break up with her before and when it came to that; history should not repeat itself. He loved her, he wasn't gonna lose her again. But now they were apparently going to have a baby. He wished that she could've told him earlier but at least he knew now right? It was a frightening thought. He had only been in the room with her for about 30 minutes or so. In that short amount of time his whole life changed. Everything would be different now. Looking over at her he watched as she finished up her cake and then moved onto a milkshake. A small grin formed on his lips as he looked at her, "So.. what kind of milkshake do you have there?" He questioned. Everyone knew that Ethan loved milkshakes or any dairy product really, it was obvious that he was hoping that she'd give him a sip of it. "Alright, well we'll just see what happens.. if a good opportunity comes then I'll tell them, if one comes to you then you can tell them" He said with a smile, "Just.. don't keep things from me anymore.. if something is bothering you I want you to tell me and well no more slamming doors in my face please"
