Wait a minute, don't you always complain about Newt sometimes? And as far as I know, you guys have a very good relationship. And me and Ashley fought all the time, but we've always recovered from that.. He shrugged and kicked a rock near his foot.

sharpay sighed. "it's .. uh ... complicated." she said with a smile. "i do love him .... it's just that... sometimes .... it's not like i thought it would be. we aren't .... the same." she said, thinking about it. "i've even considered asking him if he wants a divorce or something .... because i don't think he wants me anymore." sharpay said, ashamed to say it aloud.

Well, from he's told me, he still loves you. He was really hoping she wouldn't make a joke about Newt and him, because frankly, he probably wasn't in the mood for it.

You're right.. You know, you're the only one that's really helped me with this.. so.. thanks. He smiled up at her and then skipped a rock, and it went pretty far. Although he didn't really know what he was going to do, he felt better after talking about it a little.

Yeah.. He skipped a rock just as she did, and his hit hers and they both sank at the same time.
