Kaitlin walked into the cafeteria with Skye and Lynn behind her. As usual they sat at the table in the middle of the cafeteria. She took her seat in the middle of the two of them and set her tray down. The food wasn't very impressive, greasy french fries and oily burgers weren't her thing. She pushed her tray away from her and twisted the lid off of her Dasani water bottle. After drinking a bit of it she set it down.
She looked at Skye then and Lynn. The group was perfect. Kaitlin had met Skye earlier in the week and was quite pleased with what she saw. Skye wasn't that bad and her rocker chick style worked for her well. Kait then looked at Lynn. Lynn was her key to all the gossip around East High. She knew everything about everybody and was the gossip girl of the clique. As for Kaitlin well she was the alpha. The leader of the Pretty Committee. She was the girl who brought them all together and at the moment was looking for one more member for their group.

Kaitlin shrugged and looked at Skye. "Well this morning I ran into this girl who dumped her water on me. For like no reason!" She rolled her eyes. "But no worries, I had my spare Juicy sweats in my locker." She smiled. "That girl definitely has a problem." Kait ran her fingers through her freshly manicured nails. During the weekend she had it done at a spa in Florida, while she was with her Dad on a business trip.
Kaitlin then looked at Skye. "How 'bout you. Anything worth talking about happen lately?" She asked as she sipped a bit of her water. Most of the time East High was really boring, but now things were actually getting interesting. Since SAT's and pretty much all the work for the year was done Kaitlin had nothing to worry about for school. Now she could just focus on her tan and go shopping a lot more. But it's not like she didn't do that already.

Lynn picked at her food and groaned out of disgust. She over heard Kaitlin and Skye talk. They were most likely gossiping and that was what she loved most. What about you? Any new guys? She heard Skye ask. Lynn looked at Kaitlin. Kaitlin was taking her time to answer. She was definately hiding something. "Come on. Spill Kaitlin." She said. The Clique.. the only thing harder than getting in, is staying in. |

Kaitlin caught Lynn's suspiciousness and simply glared at her. No, she had not met any guys lately. But frankly, she didn't mind it. All the guys were either taken or mentally retarded. Kait shook her head to both of the girls. "Nawt lately. But I've got this new dating philosophy to go by: You've got to be single to mingle!" She said with a hint of pride.
Kaitlin smiled at Skye with a bit of sympathy. "But that Brian guy seems.." She did her best not to insult the way Skye had called him geeky. "Good. Well, for you anyway." She said. Kaitlin admired her outfit. It actually looked pretty fabulous for a last minute change.

Kaitlin gave Lynn a quick once over. What was Lynn talking about, it wasn't her who looked bad, it was Lynn. But obviously Kaitlin wasn't going to blurt that out. "It's called a back up outfit Luh-ynn." She snapped, and gave Lynn a I-wouldn't-do-that-again look. "That's what you wear when some skank dumps water on you and you have nuh-thing else to wear." Kaitlin smirked. "I wouldn't be giggling if I were you. Or you'll be stuck sitting over there." She pointed to a table filled with a bunch of skater freaks. "With them."

Kaitlin rolled her eyes and nodded. "Sure.." She smirked. As she waited for Lynn, Kaitlin talked to Skye for a bit and read a bit of her Teen Vogue magazine. It was a good thing Lynn took back what she said because Lynn had no idea what was coming for her if she didn't. Kaitlin always had a perfect comeback plan if somebody had pissed her off.
She scanned the cafeteria to see if Lynn was walking back. But something else caught her eye. It was her. Mikayla and some other girl eye-balling her. Again. "I can't believe it, it's that stalker girl." She said to Skye. "Typical, I knew she'd do that again." Kaitlin noticed that Lynn was walking toward them. She looked at her bottled water. "Um Ew. Is that flavored water? Do you know how many more calories that has than regular water? A bunch." She said and looked at Lynn, "But it looks like you don't worry about your weight. So, whatevs."
