Ximena walked into the hallways of East High and grinned. It was a typical day, normal schedule. This morning she was in charge of the morning announcements. Being apart of basically every single club in East High gave her the chance to become student council president even in sophomore year. She made her way toward the office and pulled out the microphone that was linked to the P.A system. Ximee cleared her throat and turned it on.
'Good morning Wildcats. Today is November 1, 2008 and here are your morning announcements. This afternoon is the first tryout day for all you basketball players. Please meet Mr. Bolton in the front foyer if you are interested in playing for the Wildcats this year. Just a reminder that the change rooms are the ones labeled BOYS on them. So don't go sneaking into the girls change room by accident. Also, Ms. Darbus is looking for all you dancers and performers out there. Since the leading lady, Ms. Sharpay Evans has graduated last year she is looking for the best big thing for the winter musical! The sign up sheets are in front of the office, if you are interested sign your name up and who knows, you might end up being the next lead star. This was Ximee Bilson saying I ♥ you. Have a great day!'
After doing the announcements for the day Ximena made her way to homeroom, with Ms. Darbus. She made her way to the back, beside Samaira and took her seat.

When Ximena walked in she smiled, Hey Zimee, Great job on the announcements today. she said with a smile, then she looked back over at the gross dude that was next to her, She gave him a look, rolled her eyes then looked away.

Adam listened attentively when Ximena came on the P.A system giving the morning announcements. She always seemed to do a good job on them. He knew that if he ever tried that he would mess up and totally embarrass himself. Oh well though, thankfully it wasn't his job. It was hers. He continued to write down the notes that were on the blackboard and noticed as she finally came into class. He didn't look up though, as much as he wanted to. He was nervous to say anything to her now, especially since Samaira was here too. They were best friends and both girls disliked him. He heard as the girls began to chat but still kept quiet, sort of listening to them as he finished copying the notes. [/blockquote]

Ximena set her bag on the floor and pulled out her notebook and began to write down the notes that everybody else seemed to be writing down. She looked over at Samaira as she began to speak to her. Hearing what she said, she nodded, smiling. "Aww. Thanks. But seriously, i meant what i said about the guys going into the girls change rooms. They are such pervs." She replied, turning to see who Samaira was rolling her eyes at. Ximee cleared her throat as she saw who it was, she didn't really know who he was, but she knew he was in her grade. "Speaking of pervs." She added, under her breath.

Ximena nodded and laughed a bit. She was the one who told Mr. Matsui to put that in the morning announcements, because it was her and a group of her friends who were barged into while they were changing after cheerleading practice. Since Ximee almost recognized his face, she figured that he was probably one of those guys who accidentally barged in. But judging by where he was sitting - by himself - he was probably not one of those jocks. After writing down all of the notes, she put her binder to the side and looked at her schedule for the day. First block, Homeroom. Second block, Science. Third block, Drama. Fourth block, Free period. And Fifth block, Gym class. The day was looking pretty decent, plus she had drama, her favourite class. Ximena was a naturally born drama queen so drama was one of her easiest classes.

After hearing what the girls were saying he began to try and ignore them. He really shouldn't have been listening but he couldn't help it. They were right there, sitting beside him. He wished that he hadn't heard them though. Ms. Darbus began giving some lecture but Adam wasn't really paying attention to that. He was propping up his head with his left hand while he held his pencil in the other hand. He had began to doodle in the margins of his paper. It was amusing him since he had already finished copying his notes. [/blockquote]

As she finished up her notes, she looked at Meena, wondering what she was thinking about that guy. Whoever he was, she then looked at him.He Looks kinda dorky, I dont think he you be that much of a perv. But, you never know. she said to herself. She looked back at Mrs. Darbus, who seemed to relieze that she was talking or not paying attention. She just smiled and conintued to wonder.

Ximena felt a pang of guilt hit her after insulting the guy a few seats away from her. It wasn't in her power to judge somebody she didn't know. Yet, she still did it. Usually it wasn't in Ximena's nature to feel guilt. Something wasn't right.. Letting out a sigh, she attempted to listen to Ms. Darbus and her so called lecture. What she was saying was almost like watching paint dry. Slow and pointless. Ximena's facial expression went from a fake smile to a blank stare as she continued to listen.

Continuing to doodle on his page he made small aliens and space ships. So that was childish but he didn't care. It was fun to draw little things like that. Adam was totally spacing out from Ms. Darbus's lecture. It was so boring he just began to block it out. But after a few minutes he realized that she wasn't talking anymore but it was the students. They were all talking to eachother because Darbus had left the classroom. He wasn't sure why she had left but it didn't bother him. She was gone so they could just waste some time. Do what ever they wanted until she got back. [/blockquote]
