Mikayla was at one of the fanciest resteraunts with Joe.She was wearing
this,which
was the fanciest thing she owned at the moment,and He was in the mens
room,they had just arrived.She was singing in her head,softly Why does
this night have to end..cant we run away together.Then the waitor walked
up with their sparkling water,not french so it wasnt achoholic.Mikayla spotted
Joe walking from the bathroom and she smiled and gave a small wave.She tossed
her hair.She had worked hard on it as always though she felt she shouldnt put
streaks in it and she didnt know why,because usually she always did.She tugged
at the hem of her skirt,she needed something to do with her hands.She was nervous
They were "talking" about something "important" and Mikayla had a feeling
it was about collage

Joe smiled at her. The ring was in his pocket, in a blue box. He was ready...Or at least he thought he was. He was so nervous though. He had a feeling she'd say yes, but that made him even more nervous. He smiled as he sat down. He wanted to slowly go into the subject. "So, um...Mik...You know how you're going off to college soon?" he asked her. God he was more nervous now than he had ever been in his life. This was big and he knew he'd screw it up somehow. |

He came back then and a smile crossed her face.When he sat down,and started talking to her,she listened and nodded."Yea,Im afraid so"she said quietly and somewhat sadly.She was totally clueless about him proposing to her.But that didnt matter.She knew he was going to soon and she already had her answer planned out in her mind.But it just wasnt in her mind at the moment.She tossed a curly strand of hair over her shoulder and she smiled at him,one of her sweet signature smiles.

"Well, before you leave...I want to tell you something." Joe said, then took her hand from the table. "Mikayla...I love you so much. We've been dating for a long time. And even though your family doesn't approve of me, you didn't care. You still wanted to date me. I'm glad that you don't care what they think. And even though you're famous you don't let it get to you. And you're one of the most forgiving people I've ever met. And...I don't want to ever lose you, ever because you mean so much to me and I'd kill myself if I didn't have you." Joe stopped talking, gently set her hand on the table, and kneeled on the ground, next to her, on one knee, with the small box in his hand now. "Mikayla, will you please marry me?" Joe asked her, looking into her eyes. |

Mikayla gaved Joe a 'what-the-hell' looked "and i would because"she saw the hurt look on Joe's face and she leant down to gently kiss his lips "I was only kidding babe,I've wanted to be Mrs.Johnson since the day we got together"she gave him the sweetest smile

Joe smiled. "So...That's a yes?" he asked, with a smile, and slid the ring into her finger, not even needing an answer from her. He stood up and hugged her, then kissed her. He smiled as he sat down. "I love you so much...." he said. Then saw her admiring the ring. "Do you like it?" he asked, smiling. |

She smiled and nodded,actually crying with ahppiness by the time he hugged and kissed her,sobbing,and grinning,and she thanked God she wore waterproof mascara.WHen joe asked if she liked the ring she nodded several times and thought this is supposted to be a night to remember,but if it wasnt i'd soooo get wasted and party..ahah just kidding now shut up concience....wait i have go to stop talking to myself

He smiled at her. "I'm glad." he said and smiled at her. "Took me forever to pick one. I found it at an antique store in town. It was made in 1909. This lady at the store told me that the ring was found after a fire of the originail store. And it's been in good condition since. And it's really big and shiny, so I thought that'd be perfect." he said, with a smile. |

Joe smiled at her. "No, you are the best." he said and kissed her nose, then held her hand and kissed her for real this time. "Love you," he added, not able to say it enough.
