Candice smiled as she walked into the gym at the U of A. She placed her sports bag on the bleacher and grabbed her basketball out from her bag. Her music career at the moment was perfectly fine, and she was tired of doing all her school work at home or on the tour bus. She never had time to go to the batting cages, or throw in some hoops. She finally had the time to do it and she planned on making it last. She planned on staying here for a couple of hours. Candice dribbled the ball and threw it into the hoop, grabbing it when it came from the bottom she dribbled it a couple more times and threw it in again. She couldn't remember the last time practiced and you could tell. She sighed slightly and continued to throw them in the hoop. They made it but she couldn't help but feel she was doing something wrong. She sighed and put her basket ball down and placed her foot onto of it. She thought for a second and studied the basketball hoop. She smiled slightly and nodded. She grabbed her ball and walked to the door and opened it, she found herself in front of a curly headed guy she bumped into him and fell back. "Shit!" She looked up "I'm so sorry!" She stood up and looked at him. "I didn't hurt you did I?" She doubted she did any damage but she still felt the need to ask.

No, of course not, it's all good. He held out his hand for her to take so he could help her up. .... Candice, right? I've about you from Sharpay. Nice to meet you. Name's Danforth... Chad Danforth. He decided to be mysterious for once, since he hadn't met anyone new since summer started.

Candice nodded and took his hand. She pulled herself up and smiled slightly. She nodded her head "Yep. I'm Candice." She put her hand out "Nice to meet you Chad. Chad Danforth." She copy ed his mystery-ness as much as she could in a friendly way and smiled. "Did you need the gym? Cause if so, ill leave. Your probably on the basketball team. I don't to interrupt any practice time for our team members." She laughed slightly and scratched the back of her head.

He shook his head, Nah, the basketball team's on a one week break for the summer, i just came here because there's no basketball hoop in my room. He smiled at her then asked If you want, we could play a quick game. I promise I'll go easy on you. He winked at her then laughed a bit.

Candice smiled and laughed "Oh poor naive boy." She shook her head and smirked. "Bring it curly haired boy." She smiled and grabbed her basketball from the ground. She was pretty sure she could get a fair game out of this. She was pretty good for a girl, but she didnt really think she was good enough to beat any guys at basketball, especailly if they were on the team. Change the sport to softball or soccer? Oh. That would be a totally different story. She'd scare the poor guys.

Oh don't worry. It's brought. He grabbed his red basketball and made a half court shot for fun. He made it look extremely easy. Just warming up a bit. After a few shots, he stopped and spun the ball on his finger. Like I said, I'll go easy on you.

Candice laughed and smiled. She watched as he the ball spun around on his finger and she rolled her eyes "You like to show off dont you?" She smirked and stole the ball from him "Lets not get big headed." She joked and dribbled the ball. "How about I got easy on you? So you'll be able to sleep at night, you know, not be sad that you got beat by a girl." She smirked and shot the ball into the hoop.

It's not bad to show off if you actually HAVE skill. Then she took the ball away from him, but he caught the rebound after she shot the ball. Oh whatever, I've played many girls, including my wife, and none have come close. But then again, who knows? You might be the first. He shot a one hand shot and heard a perfect swish.
