Ruby left the house early today. Anything to get away from her werid family. She tiptoed to her car. She got in it and drove to the mall. It was really early to be going to the mall, but she liked it that way, Less people and more room. She stepped out of her car and walked to the middle of the food court. There was no one there. Well as far as she can tell. She walked over to the empty stage in this seemingly empty floor and started playing the piano. She started to sing. Her singing was angelic... something a lot of people have never heard before. The song she was singing was her own. She had written it when she had first met her family. She heard a noise and turned around. She saw someone (sharpay). She jumped up and turned to face the girl. "I'm so sorry; is this your stage time?" she asked nervously. status :: finished. words :: 160 lyrics :: At The Mall- American Mall Cast notes :: as yuhh can see she's shy

W E L C O M E TO A NEW B E G I N N I N Git's time to start the show Sharpay shook her head as she watched Ruby perform. She walked up to the stage, causing her heels to make noise on the steps. Sharpay clapped slowly. "Good job...I think...Well not really. I would've done a lot better." Sharpay said, thinking about it, then looked at the few people in the crowd. "Um....Would you mind if I took over the stage?" Sharpay asked, with a smirk, ready to show this girl not only that Sharpay was better but how to look...perfect on stage. Literally. Sharpay was perfect in everything she did, especially performing.

Ruby smiled at the compliment. Unfortunatley, her smile quickly faded. She was glad that this girl was complimenting her, but why did she have to ruin it. She rolled her eyes a little. "Thank...you?" she said. She looked at Sharpay and tilted her head. "Wait!" she said stopping her. She shook her head. She put on a puzzled face then nodded. She gasped. "Oh MY gosh! You are! You're Sharpay Evans-Livingston!!" she yelled. She smiled. "I thought you were a blonde? I guess you dyed it. It looks good either way. I was a brunnete. But I dyed it blonde. I dyed it to look like you." she rambled. She rambled when she was nervous. She gasped for air then continued. "You were a legend at East High! And you're a legend at julliard!" she told her. status :: finished. Outfit:: up in the piqq lyrics :: At The Mall- American Mall Cast notes :: sharpay... can turn anything into BAD!! haha

W E L C O M E TO A NEW B E G I N N I N Git's time to start the show Sharpay smiled. "Why...Thank you. And yeah. I sort of dye it back and forth now. Every two weeks." Sharpay said, with a smile. Every Monday she went to her hair salon and got it dyed back to blond, then two weeks later it was dyed brown again. "So, you must be another fan?" Sharpay smiled. It was always nice meeting the little people, as Sharpay loved to call them. She flipped her brown hair over her shoulder. "Well, I do try my best to be...famous, so to speak." Sharpay smirked, then quickly fixed her shirt, which wasn't hanging off of her the right way. She smiled. "So, you wouldn't mind if I performed would you?" she asked.

Ruby looked at her. She was forzen. It took her a while, but she snapped out of it. She shook her head and took a step back. "No, not at all. It would be my honor." she told her. She signaled to the mic as a group of teens walked by. She smiled. She knew that it should be her up there singing infront of everyone. But she was too shy to stand up to anyone. Let alone her idol! status :: finished. Outfit:: up in the piqq lyrics :: At The Mall- American Mall Cast notes :: nothing.

W E L C O M E TO A NEW B E G I N N I N Git's time to start the show Sharpay smiled. "Thank you." Sharpay said, putting her hand gently over her chest, then walked up to the mic. She waved up the band she'd brought with her. She smiled. "Okay. The Acting Out song I wrote, okay?" She asked, adn they all nodded. She smiled, then put her hand on the mic, then waited for the music to start, and as it did, she felt her adrenalin pumping harder than normal, ready to be back on the stage again.
Up above the surface i was just a perfect child But underneath it all i was craving to be wild Don't you judge by the cover it's so far from what you see I'm losing all my patience waiting on ya to believe
I'm suffocating, i can't breathe Let me out this cage, i'm not gonna hold back Gonna break these chains, i'm taking control now Gonna giva ya something to talk about It's another side of me I'm acting out
Set me free, i'm ready to show you This is what i need, it's time to get dirty Imma show you what i'm talking about It's another side of me I'm acting out
Welcome to a new beginning, it's time to start the show No i don't think it matters if it's real or just a role Once you get a taste of it you'll be begging me for more I'll giva ya something to remember once i hit the floor I'm letting go of what you know
Let me out this cage, i'm not gonna hold back Gonna break these chains, i'm taking control now Gonna give ya something to talk about It's another side of me I'm acting out
Set me free, i'm ready to show you This is what i need, it's time to get dirty Imma show you what i'm talking about It's another side of me I'm acting out
I've been waiting just to drive you crazy Now it's my time and yes it feels amazing There's nothing left of what you've seen before Life's too short just to do what you're told
Just to do what you're told, just to do what you're told Do what you're told Just to do what you're told Do what... do what you're told
Let me out this cage, i'm not gonna hold back Gonna break these chains, i'm taking control now Gonna give ya something to talk about It's another side of me I'm acting out
Set me free, i'm ready to show you This is what i need, it's time to get dirty Imma show you what i'm talking about It's another side of me I'm acting out
Life's too short just to do what you're told, i'm acting out Life's too short just to do what you're told, i'm acting out Life's too short just to do what you're told, i'm acting out Yeah yeah, i'm acting out
Sharpay finished the song, kicking the stand, letting it fall to the stage floor, holding up her hand, flinging her hair. Oh yes. This was definitely where she was meant to be. She smiled, and bowed for what had turned into quite a bigger audience than she had thought she would have. The shole time she was singing she was dancing along and moving with the mic stand, acting out a bit of the lyrics. She smiled, catching her breath, putting her hand down and picking up the mic stand. She walked over to Ruby. "Now, that's how I do it." Sharpay smirked, patting her on the shoulder, then walking off the stage.

Ruby watched her preform. She shook her head. She had to admit Sharpay was good... really good. But that should've been her up there on the stage. She was the one that needed to show her stuff. And her songs had more SOUL anyway. She clapped silently when Sharpay came back. "Thank was great!" she assured her. She moved her hands when she talked for enfasis. "One Sec." she said. She walked past Sharpay and made her way to the stage. She put her hands on the mic and smiled. "Hello, I'm Ruby and I will be singing a song that I wrote with my cousin, lost in your own life, I hope you like it."she told the much larger crowd. She smiled and took a dead breathe. Don't have to be a wanderer alone Don't have to be a dog without a bone, Just come to my house, I'll be home I can hear you And how did you end up lost at sea? You don't have a boat or live near a beach But if your in need of rescuing I will hear you
(Chorus) I want you to know, your never alone You'll always have a place to go That's on the brighter side (side) I'll go to your knight I'll lead you to light With hope inside for you to find You don't have to be lost Lost in your own... life la la life (x2)
Don't have to have a heart that's turned to stone Don't have to be a king without a throne What does that even mean Do you even know? Cause I can hear you
(Chorus)
You don't have to live in strife like before No one uses the word... strife? anymore no no no ohhh
I'll color your night I'll lead you to light With hope inside so you can find You don't have to be lost Lost in your own... life (x2) La la la la la... As she sang she closed her eyes when she went really high. She swung her body back and forth. She took off the mic and walked around to get the crowd involved. She took a deep breathe and bowed to the crowd's applause. She smiled at the crowd. She walked back to Sharpay. "Like that?" she asked and bit her bottom lip. status :: finished.
