Jen was out by the lake, soaking up what little summer-fall sunrays were left. It'd be winter soon and she needed a tan to last her through it. She was listening to her Baby Blue Zune HD, the current song was We Weren't Born to Follow by Bon Jovi. Her current favorite song. She loved Bon Jovi and all eighties music.

A few weeks after 'it' happened she took a pregnancy test. It was negative. Thank God. She'd be a wreck if it was positive. Jen then tried to stop thinking about 'it' and started to think about random things until she saw some one standing in front of her. She pulled out her earbuds and looked up at the person.

Mia was in a good mood today. For no reason at all. Well there was the fact that she found her long lost sister. But she was single and knew no one in New Mexico. But that was okay. It was a fresh start. Everything was in her past. Well except for Isabella, but she was the only thing in her life that she loved no matter what happened. But she was at daycare.

Mia walked toward the lake. It was SO beautiful. Too bad that it'd be winter soon and the lake would freeze over. She looked around she didn't see anyone. She was looking to meet new people. It couldn't hurt to make friends in a new place. she thought. She spoted a girl and started to walk toward her. She stood in front of her and watched as she took out the ear bud from her ear. "Hey, I'm Mia. I'm new to Albuquerque." she greeted her introducing herself.
