corrie kassandra lowen ! "even a thousand miles, can't keep us apart." After stepping out of the taxi that led her to UOA, Corrie slightly smiled. Her summer was, how you could say, hectic. The drama was well over the top and surprisingly; she was still able to get through with it. It all started when she found out that Kaitlin Burke was her long lost new step sister. Well, technically, Kaitlin had always been her step-sister ever since her mom married her dad, but she didn’t find out about it until mid August. Odd enough, waking up to see her scrawny little blonde head in front of her wasn’t the best sight. It wasn’t all that bad, the only bad part was that it was Kaitlin Burke you were dealing with. You would expect that Corrie would have seen it coming, seeing as her dad’s last name was Burke as well, but that was obviously the last thing on her mind.
The one thing that was on her mind though: the future; the future as in university. As the summer progressed Corrie had gotten more and more acceptance letters. Some from all over the country, like Stanford, Princeton, Harvard. That wasn’t the end of it, though. Corrie had gotten an invite from her mom to go and live with them in Paris for a little while. All of the constant thoughts of which one she was going to go to was really bugging her. So that’s why Cor took the easy way out. It was simple actually, go to UOA with all her friends and not having to work with the whole long distance thing. Of course she thought it over a bunch of times and the thought of not going to UOA didn’t seem right.
Walking up to the trunk of the taxi, Corrie attempted to pull out two of her many Louis Vuitton suitcases. This was her third and last trip to transfer all of her stuff over to her dorm room. Cor handed the taxi driver a crisp $20 bill as a tip and thanked him once more. He was actually being quite patient because driving from one place to another three times in a row wasn’t all that fun; Corrie would know. After dragging both of her suitcases to her dorm, she pulled out the key and opened up the door. Unfortunately, her mom had forced her to share a dorm with Kaitlin. Of course she couldn’t really argue, considering that it was Kaitlin’s dad paying for everything, so Corrie just let it slide. “Hey roomie.” She said to Kaitlin as she dragged the suitcases into the dorm. As suspected Kaitlin replied with a small eye roll. “Don’t worry, I’m leaving soon.” Corrie said as she put her stuff down. After doing so she left the dorm to go explore the campus.

Ethan stood in the doorway of his dorm room with his suit cases in his hands. He looked in the room. He just couldn't believe it. The summer was over and college was starting soon. It was mind blowing. Sure he knew that it was all going to happen some day but now that it was here it was just hard to grasp. Everything was going to be new now, well most things however most of his friends were going to be here so that would be good. Speaking of his friends something happened and it was awesome. Ryan and him actually got to share a dorm together. They were both extremely excited about that when they found out and really they still were. It was hard not to be, they had gotten closer together in their friendship and now they got to live together.
Feeling the weight of his suitcases made Eth realize that he was still standing in the doorway. Walking inside the room he began to look around. It appeared that Ryan had already been here since there were a couple suit cases laying out on the floor and on one of the beds. That must have been the bed that he wanted, well that was what Ethan figured anyways. Carrying his bags he went over to the other bed and set his bags on it. He looked around the room once more but then back at his suit cases. Really he should start to unpack or something but didn't really feel like it right now. Maybe he would go walk around the campus, mingle a little or look for someone he knew. Yeah that sounded like a good idea.
After deciding on his decision he walked out the door, closing it behind him. He exited out the corridor, meeting a few people along the way but only had short chats with them. Basically just saying hi and who he was, getting acquainted. He didn't want to get too deep into conversation because right now he wanted to explore the campus. Look around, see what he can find. Ethan shoved his hands into the pockets of his blue jeans as he continued to walk around. He wasn't sure what would happen today but hopefully it would be good.

corrie kassandra lowen ! "..you'll be the prince and i'll be the princess." The campus of UOA was no different than any other campus through Corrie’s eyes. Honestly, she would think that it was almost like a high school, except that it had dorms and was generally bigger than East High. It was no different, though because it still had that weird learning vibe. Oh well, Corrie would learn to live with that; after all, she would be there for quite a while until she graduated once again. As she pushed the doors to get out of the building, she noticed a bunch of familiar faces. They weren't really her friends, but she knew their names well enough to recognize them. Seeing familiar people was to be expected. UOA was practically where the majority of people went for university.
Corrie was glad that she didn't really have to go through that whole 'meeting new people' thing because she basically new everybody she saw on campus. She didn't really like the idea of change, which is one of the reasons why she decided to go to UOA. Plus the awkward goodbye thing wouldn't help much either. Cor stopped walking all of a sudden. Oh snap.. The whole moving into a dorm thing had totally messed her up and she had forgotten what she should've done first. Which was: Tell Ethan about going to UOA.
Obviously Corrie still needed to work on the whole communication thing because letting that slip her mind was definitely a huge no, no at this point in their relationship. She had told him about all the other things though. Like the step-sister and moving-to-Paris issue a billion times over the phone. But obviously she had forgotten to tell him that she was going to UOA for the year. Knowing that what she didn't do was really stupid, she began to look around campus in attempt to see if he was already there or not.

Keeping his hands shoved into his pockets Ethan wandered around the campis grounds. It was sorta funny because it looked a lot like East High. The only differences were the dorm rooms and well the university was much larger. A lot larger actually. Most likely with Eth's luck he would get lost, or well he probably would during the first few days of being there. Hopefully later on he would get use to it all and be able to find his way around. That would be quite helpful. Getting lost was never fun plus that would make him late for his classes. He shook his head slightly, trying to get those scenarios out of his head. He didn't need to think about that right now, it was only his first day here. He shouldn't start worrying yet, there was no need to. Right now everyone was in the same boat, getting use to everything here. He needed to forget about those thoughts and just walk around, see what he could find.
As he continued to walk down a path on the campus he noticed a group of girls talking and giggling. He watched them for a second and then something hit him. He was reminded of Corrie. Yes, Corrie Lowen his girlfriend. They had spent an amazing summer together, it had been great. But then a different type of worry came over the young man. She had never told him what university that she had decided on. It was possible that she hadn't picked UOA. When they had discussed colleges she seemed to think that she might not be attending there. The thought of them being seperated again was horrible. Especially now since everything had been going to well between them. If they were separated one of them might meet someone else. She might meet some other guy, some guy that she might like more than him. Someone more handsome, or funny maybe even a crazy guy. It was hard to say but it all made him nervous.
Why did all of these stupid thoughts have to be shoved into his head? Seriously it was almost like he over thought everything. Thought of all of the worst scenarios before the good ones. If she did choose a different university things would be fine. They'd stay in touch, visit each other over breaks and holidays. He was rushing to conclusions, bad ones too. He just needed to refresh his mind, try to enjoy the day. He would give her a call later to find things out. But then a smile appeared on his face. He wouldn't need to make that call. Definitely not. The reason why?Well it appeared that Corrie had chosen UOA because she was standing a few feet away from him. He was positive that it was her. He was able to pick her out anywhere. He was so happy right now it was hard to believe, they hadn't been split up. It was great! Taking his hands out of his pockets he carefully made his way over to her. Being quiet as he walked. Her back was towards him and when he finally reached her he put his hands over her eyes so that they were covering them, "Guess who" He said and let a few happy chuckles slip out.

corrie kassandra lowen ! "step into the future. but hold onto high school." Corrie wandered around campus, getting lost every single corner she turned. Although a map would do some good, it wouldn’t really do anything for Corrie. Plus she totally hated carrying around a map because it would make people think that she was.. well, new. Which was actually true, but Corrie didn't want people to know that. Most of the time she couldn’t read maps. At all. She’d get distracted with all of the symbols and she would forget where she was or get even more confused. But the point was that Corrie wasn’t really good at finding things. Including places. Like the boys dorm room at UOA. There could be a huge sign right in front of her and Corrie still wouldn’t be able to notice it until somebody mentioned it to her. Which totally made her 100% oblivious. Even more oblivious up to the point when somebody came up behind her and covered her eyes. Corrie let out a small shriek, causing her own heart rate to boost without warning.
"Guess who?"
Even though Corrie was almost scared to death, she could recognize that voice anywhere. It was rather bad timing though because before she realized it was his voice, she stepped forward, not bothering to turn around and said, "Oh my gosh. You practically gave me a freakin' heart attack!" After saying that she finally realized who had just spoken to her and turned around. "Oopps." Opps was all that she could say at the moment because the fact that she had just spazzed out at her boyfriend was pretty 'oopps' worthy. Corrie let a small grin. "Ethan!" She said, "Who knew i'd find you here.." As she spoke, she kept her tone in a way that kind of said 'forget-what-i-just-did'. "You know i was just about to go look for you. But," Corrie let out a small laugh, "I have no idea where i am right now. So it looks like you found me.." She darted her eyes around to see where she was, "You know, here." Cor was still unsure of where she was standing, so she just smiled to cover up her obvious clueless look.
