Looking around, Paris wasn't sure what she should do. Who to sit with rather. It was her very first day at East High School. She was 17, nearly 18, and she was a senior. She had just transferred from Wisconsin. East High was not shabby at all. Amazing compared to her old school in Milwaukee. She sighed as she turned around, with the tray of food her her hands. She looked at all the circular tables. Everyone seemed to be with a friend, clique, or who ever was probably getting lucky with them that night. She sighed and sat down at a table that was empty.

Marissa walked into the cafeteria. She saw a new girl. She rememnbered when she was the new girl. She figured she should give her a chance. Missy walked over and sat at the table. "Mind if I sit here?"

"Oh. Uh...Sure." she half-smiled. She wasn't good at first impressions. She never had been and probably never would be, either. She hated the awkwardness about introducing yourself to someone new. It was just too nerve-wracking. "I'm Paris" she said, offering Marissa her hand to shake.

Marissa smiled back. "I'm Marissa." She said forgetting her nickname for a seccond. "But you can call me Missy". She said shaking her hand then putting it down after speaking.

Paris smiled. She'd never had a nickname before. Ever. Not in any of her 17 years. Paris was too boring of a name she guessed. "So, what's it like here at East High? I heard that this one drama queen bitchy chick graduated last year. Sharpiff Evans or something??" she questioned, raising an eyebrow.
[note: haha i want them to be enemies in a way]

"uh...her name is Sharpay." She said. Marissa and Sharpay were pretty good friends so she hoped Paris wouldnt have a problem with her. "Yeah. She's definetely a drama queen..."

She frowned. "I saw her the one day, clinging to this really hot guy with blond hair. She was acting like she owned him or something. And her skirt was so shirt. She looked like a slut to me." she said.

"well, she does kinda own him.." Marissa said truthfully. "She's not really a slut. She's actually really nice." Missy said. "So... have you seen any guys u like yet?" She asked.

"Well, no. Of course that guy she was with was beyond gorgeous, and I could tell he was funny by the way she kept laughing at everything he said.." she sighed. "But no one appeals to me at this school. It just isn't that great here, so far. At least I met one person who didn't bump into me," she smiled at Marissa. "And all the guys here are either taken, in another person's pants, or they're perverts." she sighed.
