Corrie walked onto the stage. It was her first big performance since her dance competition a couple months ago. She was nervous as ever but she knew that she could do it. Cor took a deep breath, 'You can do it, just dance what you've been practicing all this time.' Once the music had started Corrie got in position and began her routine. There had been talent scouts in the crowd watching her, saying to each other 'We could really use her in our dance school this year'
After the music had finished. Corrie danced her way off of the stage. She was satisifed with her dance, and walked to her dressing room to get changed for the next music number. Little did she know that this might be her last month at East High for good..
The talent scouts walked up to Corrie's mom after the show had ended. They were very impressed with her performance and for the second time had offered her to go to their performing arts school. Corrie walked up to her mom and the scouts once she had a couple pictures taken and gotten changed. "What's going on?" Cor asked her mom. The scouts had left and Corrie's mom had already agreed that she would be going to the school. Thinking that it was what Corrie wanted.
"Corrie I have some great news for you." Her mom said.
"Alright, go ahead I'm psyched." Cor smiled.
"Well, there were talent scouts watching you today. And they offered to let you go into their performing arts school again. So, I accepted. It's still not completely offical since you haven't said yourself that you want to go. Now Corrie, I'm going to ask you this now. Do you want to go to this school they are talking about?"
Cor looked at her mom with confusion. Leave East High? My friends? Forever? No this wasn't right. But it was a great oppourtunity for her. And Corrie knew that they only offered these positions to the best dancers in the country.
"Mom, is it okay if I think about this for a bit at the park?" Corrie asked. Her mom replied with a nod and Corrie left for the park to think about what she was going to do.
